All 28 Jesuit Colleges & Universities Named to 2016 U.S. News & World Report Rankings

October 2, 2015 — All 28 Jesuit colleges and universities have been ranked near the top of their classification categories among America’s “Best Colleges,” according to the 2016 U.S. News & World Report rankings.

For the 13th year in a row, Creighton University was ranked first for Midwest Regional Universities. “This truly is a reflection of the university’s commitment to its mission of Jesuit, Catholic higher education,” said provost Edward O’Connor.

Among the master’s universities ranked in the West, three of the top five were Jesuit schools: Santa Clara University (second); Loyola Marymount University (third); and Gonzaga University (fourth). Additionally, Santa Clara’s first-year retention rate (95%) ranked the highest of any master’s university in the country, and its graduation rate (85%) is the highest in the West.
