Which Jesuit Saint Are You?

November 4, 2016 — What’s your real age? What country best fits your personality? The internet has a quiz for almost everything and now you can find out which Jesuit saint you are. To celebrate the Feast of All Saints and Blessed of the Society of Jesus on Nov. 5, the Jesuits have launched a quiz that reveals your inner Jesuit.

Answer a few questions to find your Jesuit saint. Tough enough to withstand torture? You may be St. Nicholas Owen, a Jesuit brother who constructed hiding spaces for priests during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I of England and was later tortured to death in the Tower of London.

St. Aloysius Gonzaga

If you’ve gone so far as to care for plague victims to sacrifice for others, you may be St. Aloysius Gonzaga, who died at age 23 after caring for the sick in Rome. Perhaps your family has royal bloodlines? St. Francis Borgia, third Superior General of the Society and a Spanish nobleman, can relate.

St. Francis Borgia

There are dozens of Jesuit saints who have lived Ignatian values in inspirational ways, from a humble door keeper to St. Ignatius himself, founder of the Society of Jesus. There are many more unofficial saints — men and women — who have also lived these values, like Juana of Austria, the only woman Jesuit.

Take the quiz and get to know a few of them as we celebrate their holy lives on this feast day.
