March 15, 2017 — During Lent, Jesuit Father John Cecero,
provincial of the USA Northeast Province Jesuits, says he tries to spend a
little extra time in prayer.
“Ignatius gives us the tool of the Examen to look back with
gratitude over what’s happening in life," he says, “but also to focus on perhaps
another area where I’m hoping to get some freedom in my life.”
Lent is a time to grow spiritually, says Fr. Cecero. And,
from an Ignatian perspective, “a time to grow in freedom.”
April 16, 2018 — In honor of Emancipation Day, Georgetown University celebrated the legacies of Anne Marie Becraft, a 19th-century African-American education pioneer.
