September 13, 2013 — The U.S. News & World Report rankings for 2014 include all 28 Jesuit institutions among America’s “Best Colleges.” The 27 research and master's institutions and one liberal arts college ranked in the upper segment of each school’s respective classification category.

Eleven Jesuit institutions moved up in the rankings this year. Other notable placements in this year's rankings include: Creighton University’s eleventh year in a row as No. 1 for Midwest master's universities; an eight-point move for Marquette University from 83 to 75 among national universities; and a seven-point move for both College of the Holy Cross (from 32 to 25 among liberal arts colleges) and Saint Peter's University (from 108 to 101 among Northern regional master's universities).
