Kristen Lionetti is the policy director of the Advocacy Office of the Jesuit Conference of Canada and the United States. In collaboration with Jesuit institutions, she advocates for greater social justice in policy related to Central America, migration and immigration.
Prior to joining the Jesuit Conference, Lionetti worked to increase awareness on immigration issues with the Catholic Legal Immigration Network (CLINIC) and on programming to address the root causes of migration with Catholic Relief Services in El Salvador. She served as a Jesuit Volunteer in Managua, Nicaragua, from 2002 to 2004 and worked with the international and domestic programs of the Jesuit Volunteer Corps from 2006 to 2010.
Lionetti holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Puget Sound and a master's degree in social work from The Catholic University of America.
