David, 26, earned a bachelor’s in English and philosophy from Columbia Union College in Takoma Park, Maryland. Raised in the Seventh-day Adventist faith, David’s journey to Catholicism and the Jesuits began in college with his attraction to the sacramental life of the church. While working as a grandfather clock repairman, he volunteered as a CCD teacher, a writing and math tutor and a physical therapy volunteer. (Maryland Province)
