Joseph, 31, earned a bachelor’s in history at Florida State University in Tallahassee and served in the United States Air Force from 2009 to 2018, rising to the rank of captain. His assignments included air battle management and instruction at various posts in the U.S. and abroad. He began his discernment with Jesuits he met while living in Italy, and grew in understanding the Society of Jesus through books and movies. (Central and Southern Province)
